Top 10 Manufacturing Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – October 1st – 15th, 2025

PIPE

  1. Joby Aviation, all-electric, vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) air taxi for commercial passenger service, received $591.01 million of development capital through a private placement.
  2. Keurig Dr Pepper, coffee systems under the Keurig and Green Mountain brands, as well as ready-to-drink beverages under brands such as Dr Pepper, Snapple, and Canada Dry, received $18 billion of development capital from Starboard Value through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. DMC Power, proprietary connector technology systems for the electricity transmission and distribution industries, was acquired by Hubbell for $825 million.
  2. Elo Touch Solutions, touchscreen and monitor products for restaurants, retail, industrial, healthcare, banking, and other industries, was acquired by Zebra Technologies for $1.3 billion.
  3. Simmonds Precision Products, fuel and proximity sensing and structural health monitoring solutions for the aerospace and defense end markets, was acquired by TransDigm Group for $765 million.

Buyout/LBO

  1. Comfort, orthopedic footwear and inserts that support individuals with diabetes and other foot health conditions, was acquired by Promus Equity Partners through a $60 million LBO.

Later Stage VC

  1. Zero Motorcycles, electric-powered motorcycles that provide an enhanced riding experience, raised $100.18 million of venture funding.

Seed Round

  1. Amble (Irvine), sustainable outdoor apparel that provides protection and comfort in diverse weather conditions, raised $3.16 million of seed funding.
  2. Vertical Semiconductor, vertical power electronics that enable higher density and efficiency in power converters for data centers and grid infrastructure, raised $11 million of seed funding in a deal led by Playground Global.

Angel (individual)

  1. SoftShox, wearable hydraulic shock absorber technology that helps prevent concussions and traumatic brain injuries, raised $881,000 of angel funding.
