Top 10 Manufacturing Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – September 16th – 30th, 2025

PIPE

    1. Amaero, domestic high-value refractory alloy, titanium, and specialty alloy powders for additive and manufacturing components utilised by the defense, space, and aviation industries, received AUD 53 million of development capital.

Buyout/LBO

    1. Isto Biologics, orthobiologic medical devices, that supports bone healing and orthopedic procedures, acquired by Keensight Capital and its management through a $1 billion LBO.
    2. Pittsburgh Electrical Insulation, custom electrical insulation products that supports industrial and commercial applications, was acquired by EIS, via its financial sponsor Searchlight, through an LBO.

Merger/Acquisition

    1. Elite Packaging, packaging materials for automotive, consumer retail, distribution, food, manufacturing, and other industries, was acquired by Welch Packaging.
    2. K&T Steel, structural steel products built from domestically sourced materials serving contractors, builders, and business owners across a wide range of projects, was acquired by Mr. Keegan Graves and Mr. Bart Graves.

Later Stage VC

    1. NeXtGen Biologics, extracellular matrix biomaterial products that harness axolotl-derived extracellular matrix components for tissue regeneration, raised $130,000 of venture funding.

Early Stage VC

    1. Uviquity, semiconductor-based disinfection technology for pathogen elimination, raised $1.55 million of venture funding through a combination for convertible debt and SAFE notes.
    2. Electroflow Technologies, electrochemical technology that streamlines and decarbonize the lithium chemical supply chain, raised $10 million of venture funding in a deal led by Union Square Ventures.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

    1. Pre6, an artificial intelligence-powered platform that modernizes manufacturing processes, joined Peak XV Partners as part of its Surge cohort and received an estimated $3 million of seed capital in funding.
    2. Firehawk, a rocket engine technology that makes space transportation safe, reliable, and affordable, received $4 million of grant funding from AFWERX as a part of its DAF’s Open Topic SBIR/STTR program.
