Top 10 Manufacturing Capital Raises in the U.S. – December 1st-15th, 2024

PE Growth/Expansion

    1. Ecore International, manufacturer of rubber flooring products intended for the construction, consumer, commercial, industrial, and leisure markets, received development capital from General Atlantic.
    2. Grignard, manufacturer of specialty chemicals catering to hospitals, first responders, and businesses, received development capital from AAVIN Private Equity.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. ASAP Hydraulics, manufacturer of hydraulic and industrial products based in Exton, Pennsylvania, was acquired by RG Group.
    2. Brake Supply, manufacturer, and distributor of heavy-duty offroad equipment catering to various industries, was acquired by H-E Parts International, a subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery.

Buyout/LBO

    1. Air Innovations, manufacturer of environmental control units designed for equipment manufacturers, custom HVAC projects, and other environmental applications, was acquired by Altus Capital Partners through an LBO.
    2. Arjay Company, manufacturer of packaging products designed to streamline customer operations, was acquired by Veritiv, via its financial sponsor Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, through an LBO.

Later Stage VC

    1. AM Batteries, manufacturer of lithium batteries using solvent-free electrode manufacturing technology intended to eliminate problems caused by solvents, raised an additional $15 million of Series B venture funding from Shibaura Machine, and other investors.
    2. Far UV Technologies, manufacturer of disinfection lighting products intended to improve indoor air quality in occupied facilities and vehicles, raised $1.3 million of venture funding.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Lusso Cloud, manufacturer of luxury footwear intended for comfort, raised venture funding from Old Tom Venture Club.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

    1. Burnt Tavern Bourbon, operator of a whisky distillery intended to offer premium bourbon taste, raised $400,000 of seed funding.
