PE Growth/Expansion

  1. Kadon Precision Machining, manufacturer of precision machined parts intended for aerospace, agriculture, automotive, and other related industries, secured a development capital from UMB Capital, Tecum Capital and Longwater Investment.
  2. Packaging Strategies, manufacturer of hard-plastic packaging containers for military, telecommunications, aerospace, government, and medical, secured development capital from ArchStar Capital.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

  1. ACCESS Rudolf Technologies, manufacturer of silicone products, specializing in silicone specialty fluids and emulsions, acquired by Rudolf
  2. Amran Instrument Transformers, manufacturer of low and medium-voltage instrument transformers headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, acquired by Standex International.

Later Stage VC

  1. Laserax, manufacturer of laser systems intended for industrial marking, cleaning, and texturing applications, raised $45.5 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Business Development Bank of Canada.
  2. Nara Organics, Producer of an organic, grass-fed whole milk intended to deliver the nutrients infants need, raised $18.9 million through a combination of Series A and Series A-1 venture funding in a deal led by Torch Capital, AlleyCorp and Platinum Mile Ventures.

Early Stage VC

  1. SoluBag, developer of a flexible packing technology designed to deliver water-soluble and environmentally friendly products, raised $4.50 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Exit Ventures.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

  1. RedAlign, developer of a no-touch laser system designed to measure motor-pump alignment while hot and running, raised $400,000 of angel funding.
  2. Rig Strips, manufacturer of car mounts designed to attach outdoor accessories, raised $300,000 of angel funding from Todd Graves.
  3. Viable Gear, manufacturer of seaweed-based plastic alternatives intended for fishing, aquaculture, and agriculture use, raised $30,000 of angel funding in the form of SAFE notes.
