Top 10 Metals, Minerals and Mining Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – September 1st-15th, 2024

PIPE

1. Blue Moon Metals, Canadian exploration stage company that explores and develops mineral resource properties, received CAD 40.25 million of development capital from LNS, Brookfield Oaktree Holdings, Wheaton Precious Metals and Hartree Partners over 3 tranches through a private placement.
2. Hycroft Mining Holding, gold and silver producer that operates the Hycroft Mine in Nevada, received $60 million of development capital from 2176423 Ontario, Tribeca Global Natural Resources and other investors through a private placement.
3. Gladiator Metals, acquires, develops, and operates mineral property, mainly the Whitehorse Copper Project in Yukon Territory, received CAD 22.5 million of development capital through a private placement.
4. King Copper Discovery, exploration company that develops the high-grade Colquemayo Project in Peru, sold 9.99% stake in the company for CAD 15 million through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition

5. American Creek Resources, explores and develops mineral resource properties mainly in the regions of British Columbia, Canada, was acquired by Tudor Gold.
6. MAG Silver, Canadian mining company that advances high-grade precious district-scale precious metals projects in the Americas, was acquired by Pan American Silver for $2.145 billion.
7. Pecoy Copper, special-purpose vehicle company based in Toronto, Canada that owns a copper-gold-molybdenum project in southern Peru, was acquired by Priyanka Capital.

Later Stage VC

8. Gold Candle, mineral exploration project that identifies gold resources responsibly, raised $87.3 million of venture funding from Trinity Capital Partners Limited, Franco-Nevada, and other investors.
9. MCC Mining, mineral exploration service provider that offers extensive copper exploration portfolio in Colombia, raised $75 million of venture funding.

Angel (individual)

10. Verdera Energy, advanced uranium assets that stores uranium resources in the United States, raised $546,867 of angel funding.
