PIPE

  1. Cartier Resources Inc, an exploration company, received CAD 11.40 million of development capital from Agnico Eagle Mines on April 23, 2025, through a private placement.
  2. North Peak Resources Ltd, a Canadian-based gold and silver exploration and development company engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties, received CAD 5.168999 million of development capital.
  3. Nord Precious Metals Mining, engaged in the acquisition, evaluation, exploration, and development of mineral properties. Its projects Featuring Silver, Copper, Nickel, and Gold, received CAD 526,800 of development capital.
  4. Ashley Gold Corp, engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in the natural resource sector with the long-term goal of divesting its investment assets at a profit. The company projects include Tabor Lake Mine, Howie Lake and Alto-Gardnar, received CAD 181,000 of development capital.
  5. Electric Metals, operator of an exploration and mineral development company focused on advancing critical mineral assets essential to the electrification of everything, received CAD 3 million of development capital.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. 1491205 B.C., operator of gold exploration project based in Canada, acquired by Landore Resources.
  2. Quebec Precious Metals, engaged in acquiring, exploring, and developing mining projects in Canada, acquired by Fury Gold Mines for CAD 4 million.

Later Stage VC

  1. Electra, developer of alternative steelmaking technology designed to stop carbon dioxide emissions, raised $186 million through a combination of Series B and Series B-1 venture funding in a deal led by Temasek Holdings and Capricorn Investment Group.

Early Stage VC

  1. FinEx Metals, operator of mineral exploration projects intended for the discovery of valuable resources, raised $4.73 million of venture funding.

Seed Round

  1. Licube, provider of sustainable lithium from underutilized sources intended to extract direct lithium from oilfield brine, raised $6 million of seed funding in a deal led by B Dash Ventures.
