PIPE

  1. African Energy Metals Inc, a natural resource company focused on acquiring, developing, and operating copper, cobalt, and lithium energy metals projects in the DRC, received CAD 1 million of development capital.
  2. Argyle Resources Corp, company that acquires, explores, stakes and evaluates natural resource properties in North America, received CAD 995,400 of development capital.
  3. Cosa Resources Corp, a natural resource company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mining properties, received CAD 6 million of development capital from Denison Mines, through a private placement.
  4. Forsys Metals Corp, involved in the business of exploring, acquiring and developing mineral properties, received CAD 5.005 million of development capital.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Aion Mining, operator of an asset holding company focused on a coal mining site in the Santander region of Colombia, acquired by Forge Resources for $5.309 million.
  2. Genesis Alkali, manufacturer of specialty chemicals intended for a variety of industrial and consumer applications, acquired by We Soda $1.425 billion.
  3. Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining, operator of an active gold mine intended to provide gold mining and recovery services, acquired by SSR Mining.

Later Stage VC

  1. Disassociate, developer of a materials liberation technology designed to optimize the world’s use of resources and disrupt best practices in the mining and reclamation industries, raised $15.08 million of venture funding.
  2. TransVoyant, operator of an AI-driven supply chain intelligence platform designed for optimizing global business operations, raised an addtional $7.71 million of Series C venture funding from Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, P74 Ventures and other investors.

Seed Round

  1. Mel Fisher’s Treasures, operator of a historic shipwreck recovery company intended to uncover and preserve shipwreck treasures, raised $158,500 of seed funding.
