- Arizona Sonoran Copper Co Inc, a mineral exploration company, received CAD 20 million of development capital from HudBay Minerals through a private placement.
- Azarga Metals Corp, a mineral exploration and development company, received CAD 1.1 million of development capital from Junbord International and Superb Standard through a private placement.
- Basin Uranium Corp, a junior mining company and has been engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, and mining of mineral properties, received CAD 699,750 of development capital.
- Demesne Resources, a Canadian exploration company focused on advancing high-grade magnetite mineral properties, received CAD 2.01 million of development capital.
- Genius Metals, engaged in the acquisition and exploration of gold and other mineral properties, received CAD 947,000 of development capital.
Merger/Acquisition
- MAS Gold, a mineral exploration company that engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in Canada, acquired by Eros Resources.
- Rockridge Resources, a junior exploration company, acquired by Eros Resources.
- Gatos Silver, a development and exploration company, acquired by First Majestic Silver for $970million.
Later Stage VC
- Earth AI, operator of a vertically integrated mineral exploration company intended to find and develop metallic ore bodies, raised $20 million through the combination of Series B-1, Series B-2 and Series B-3 venture funding in a deal led by Cantos Ventures and Tamarack Global.
- Mangrove Lithium, developer of a modular and scalable refining technology designed to convert lithium chloride and lithium sulfate from feedstocks directly into battery-grade lithium hydroxide, raised $35 million of venture funding from BMW i Ventures, Mitsubishi and Export Development Canada.
