PIPE
- Western Uranium & Vanadium Corp, a Canada based company involved in industrial metals and mines business sector, received an estimated CAD 5.03 million of development capital from Mr. George Glasier and other investors.
- Abasca Resources, a uranium and graphite exploration company powering the world with clean, reliable and sustainable energy, receive CAD 1.25 million of development capita.
- Sun Summit Minerals Corp, engaged in the acquisition and exploration of precious metal properties in British Columbia, Canada, received CAD 10 million of development capital.
- Silver Storm Mining Ltd, engaged in acquiring, exploring, and developing mineral properties, received CAD 2.47 million of development capital from 2176423 Ontario.
- Altiplano Metals Inc, a Canadian mineral development company focused on acquiring projects with the potential for advancement from discovery through to production, received an estimated CAD 723,750 of development capital.
Merger/Acquisition
- Donlin Gold, a gold mining project located in Dolin Creek, Alaska, acquired by Novagold Resources (TSE: NG) and Paulson Advisers for $1 billion.
- Stampede Metals, a precious metals and minerals mining company based in Nevada, United States, acquired by Hawthorn Resources for $1.8 million.
Later Stage VC
- Earth AI, a vertically integrated mineral exploration company intended to find and develop metallic ore bodies, raised $26 million through a combination of Series B-1, Series B-2, and Series B-3 venture funding via its financials in the form of SAFE notes, a deal led by Cantos Ventures and Tamarack Global.
- MCC Mining, mineral exploration services intended to offer an extensive copper exploration portfolio in Colombia, raised $11.9 million of venture funding.
Early Stage VC
- Eagle Energy Metals, a resource development company intended to advance nuclear energy through uranium mining, raised $173,405 of venture funding.
