PIPE
- Desert Mountain Energy Corp, a resource company that explores, develops, and produces helium and rare earth gas properties in the U.S. Southwest, received CAD 3 million of development capital.
- Horizon Petroleum Ltd, a company that explores, acquires, and develops oil and gas properties, received CAD 300,100 of development capital.
Merger/Acquisition
- Camden & Southern Railroad, a freight railroad based in Camden, Arkansas, was acquired by OmniTRAX.
- Drilling Innovative Solutions, downhole tool products that serve the oil and gas industry, was acquired by Innovex International.
Later Stage VC
- Barrell Energy, renewable fuel production systems that generate energy, raised Series B venture funding.
- Central McGowan, an industrial distributor and technology integrator company that provides industrial gases, automation, and CO2 services across multiple states, raised $25.8 million of venture funding.
Early Stage VC
- NuCube Energy, compact solid-state fission reactor systems that provide long-term, on-site power generation for energy-intensive operations, raised $16 million of venture funding in the combination of equity and SAFE notes in a deal led by Arizona Nuclear Ventures.
- Northern Smilodon Energy, an oil and gas asset platform that supports current and future energy supply and reliability, raised $1.97 million of venture funding.
Seed Round
- Stone Power, simplified natural gas and advanced nuclear turbines that enable AI-accelerated engineering and American-scale manufacturing, raised venture funding from Deepwater Asset Management.
- Aquanta Vision, an advanced imaging platform that detects methane leaks in industrial environments using thermal and optical technologies, raised pre-seed funding from Odyssey, Marathon Petroleum and Chevron Technology Ventures.
