PIPE
- First Helium, engaged in acquiring, exploring, evaluating, and developing helium property interests in Alberta, received CAD 3.64 million of development capital from undisclosed investors through a private placement.
- SandRidge Energy, engaged in the exploration, development, and production of crude oil, natural gas, and Natural gas liquids, received an undisclosed amount of development capital from Third Avenue Management.
Merger/Acquisition
- Piñon Midstream, operator of a mine treating facility intended to focus on sour gas treating and carbon capture in the Delaware Basin, acquired by Enterprise Products Partners for $950 million.
- PIP360, provider of predictive maintenance catering to the oil, gas, and mining industry,was acquired by KSB GIW.
Later Stage
- MyLand, operator of a soil health company intended to infuse life into soil and help return the farm to its most fertile state, raised $10 million of venture funding from undisclosed investors.
- Sironix Renewables, developer of plant-based ingredients designed for eco-friendly cleaning and personal care products, raised $3.00 million of Series A venture funding from undisclosed investors.
Early Stage
- Terra AI, operator of an artificial intelligence platform intended to provide unique insights into subsurface resources by fusing wide ranges of data and running advanced optimization, raised $3.39 million of venture funding from StoryHouse Ventures, Khosla Ventures and Climate Capital.
Angel, Seed, and Grant
- Mitico, operator of an industrial management company intended for mass mitigation of carbon emissions, graduated from gener8tor as part of the gener8tor Carbon Removal Accelerator 2024 class and received an undisclosed amount.
- Carbon Ridge, operator of a modular onboard carbon capture and storage company intended to provide end-to-end decarbonization for shipping, raised an additional $9.5 million through a combination of debt and Seed Plus funding in a deal led by Crosscut Ventures and Western Technology Investment.
- Universal Fuel Technologies, developer of chemical technology designed to make sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), gasoline, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas), (benzene, toluene and xylenes) BTX from alcohols, ethers, renewable naphtha and light olefins, raised $3 million of Seed-1 funding in a deal led by TO VC Accelerator/Incubator.
