PE Growth/Expansion

  1. Verde Operating Company, operator of oil and gas assets across the Permian Basin, received development capital from Carnelian Energy Capital.
  2. Ichthys Energy, provider of exploration and production of oil and gas services designed for aggregation and responsible development of operated Permian Basin inventory, received development capital from Post Oak Energy Capital.
  3. Tiburon Oil & Gas Partners, operator of energy exploration and production company based in Houston, Texas, received  development capital from Post Oak Energy Capital.
  4. Polaris Laboratories, operator of fluid testing and analysis company, received development capital from Riverspan Partners.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

  1. Crew Energy, an oil and gas exploration, development, and production company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, was acquired by Tourmaline Oil for CAD 1.06 billion.
  2. Tellurian, a U.S-based independent oil and gas exploration and production company, was acquired by Woodside Energy  for $1.2 billion.
  3. Sage Energy Partners, provider of energy brokerage services, was acquired by BGC Group.
  4. Robison Energy, supplier of natural gas and electricity catering to homes across the New York Metropolitan area, was acquired by Catalyst Power through an LBO.

Early Stage VC

  1. ZENRG Industrial Services, provider of emission reduction services, raised $6.46 million through a combination of Series A-1, Series A-2 and Series A-3 venture funding, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $7.04 million.

PIPE

  1. Logan Energy, a growth-oriented exploration, development and production company, received an estimated CAD 50 million of development capital through a private placement.
