Top 10 Oncology Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – January 1st to March 31st, 2026

PIPE

    1. Adlai Nortye, clinical-stage company that discovers and develops cancer therapies, received approximately $140.00 million of development capital from Cormorant Asset Management, Casdin Capital, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Balyasny Asset Management, Point72 Asset Management, and Squadron Capital Management through a private placement.
    2. AN2 Therapeutics, biopharmaceutical company that discovers and develops novel small molecule therapeutics derived from its boron chemistry platform, received an estimated $23.5 million of development capital from Coastlands Capital LP, Commodore Capital and Vivo Capital through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition

    1. Hera BioLabs, pre-clinical drug development services that develops cell-line modification and animal model creation, was acquired by Demeetra.
    2. Ouro Medicines, innovative therapeutics that treats immune-mediated diseases by targeting underlying immune system dysfunction, was acquired by Gilead for $1.675 billion.

Later Stage VC

    1. Embolx, medical devices for arterial embolization procedures, raised venture funding from MedTech Angels.
    2. Exact Imaging, high-resolution micro-ultrasound systems for real-time prostate imaging and biopsy guidance, raised $10 million of venture funding in a deal led by iGan Partners.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Nexo Therapeutics, molecule oncology platform that advances the development of small-molecule therapies for patients with limited treatment options, raised $60 million of Series A venture funding through a combination of debt and equity in a deal led by Versant Ventures.
    2. NOXX Therapeutics, monoclonal antibodies and conjugates that targets a clinically validated pathway responsible for tumor-induced immune suppression, raised $1 million of venture funding.

Seed

    1. Advac Therapeutics, vaccines and therapeutics for the treatment of infectious diseases and cancers, raised $500,000 of seed funding.
    2. ImmuneBridge, allogeneic cellular immunotherapies for advancing cancer treatment, raised $7.7 million of seed funding in a deal led by NFX.
