- IDEAYA Biosciences, oncology-focused precision medicine company committed to the discovery and development of targeted therapeutics for patient populations selected using molecular diagnostics, received $195 million of development capital through a private placement.

- Neurona Therapeutics, regenerative cell therapies for the treatment of chronic neurological disorders, was acquired by UCB, a subsidiary of Digital Care Transformation, for $1.15 billion.
- Ajax Therapeutics, targeted therapy drugs for the treatment of hematologic cancers, was acquired by Lilly USA for $2.3 billion.
