Top 10 Oncology Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – October 1st – 15th, 2025

PIPE

1. 1. Adicet Bio, clinical-stage biotechnology company discovering and developing allogeneic gamma delta T cell therapies for cancer and other diseases, received $70.001 million of development capital through a private placement.
   2. Leap Therapeutics, biopharmaceutical company developing novel biomarker-targeted antibody therapies that treats patients with cancer by inhibiting fundamental tumor-promoting pathways, targeting cancer-specific cell surface molecules, and harnessing the immune system to attack cancer cells, received $58.88 million of development capital from Winklevoss Capital Management through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition

3. 3. ONCO (Cancer Registry Services Division), software platform for cancer registry operations, was acquired by Savista.
   4. SunState Medical Specialists, healthcare services for comprehensive cancer and urology treatment, was acquired by Mid-Florida Cancer Centers, a subsidiary of OneOncology.

Later Stage VC

5. 5. AOA Dx, early disease detection platform that revolutionizes early-stage cancer detection for women, raised $8.09 million of venture funding from Adaptive Capital Partners (Singapore).
   6. Curadel Pharma, optical imaging systems that see the invisible and minute internal body parts, raised $14.48 million of Series A3 venture funding.
   7. DermaSensor, skin cancer evaluation technology that provides spectroscopy and machine learning technologies to detect skin cancer early, raised $16 million of Series B venture funding from Pier 70 Ventures, Kern Venture Group and GenHenn Capital.

Early Stage VC 

8. 8. Pheast Therapeutics, macrophage-targeted immunotherapies for cancer treatment, raised $24.59 million of venture funding.

Seed

9. 9. Bectas Therapeutics, monoclonal antibody therapy that realizes the full potential of the immune system, raised $5.55 million of seed funding.
   10. OraLiva, AI-powered cytology diagnostic platform that helps early cancer detection and precision oncology care at the point-of-care, raised $2 million of seed funding in a deal led by Preetpal Sidhu.
