Top 10 Oncology Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – September 1st-15th, 2025

    1. Citius Oncology, specialty pharmaceutical company dedicated to the development and commercialization of critical care products targeting unmet needs with a focus on oncology products, received $9 million of development capital through a private placement.
    2. Apollomics, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company specializing in the discovery and development of oncology therapies with the potential to be combined with other treatment options to harness the immune system and target specific molecular pathways to inhibit cancer, received $4.1 million of development capital Maxpro Investment and other investors through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition

    1. Exosome Diagnostics, biofluid-based diagnostics that delivers personalized precision healthcare that improves lives, was acquired by MDxHealth for $15 million.

Later Stage VC

    1. Dewpoint Therapeutics, AI-powered healthcare technology platform that identifies novel drugs across a wide spectrum of diseases, raised Series D venture funding.
    2. Galvanize Therapeutics, energy-based medical device technology that improves biological processes, raised $100 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Sofinnova Partners.
    3. Mercy BioAnalytics, novel liquid biopsy assay platform that relieves suffering and saves lives through the early detection of cancer, raised $59 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Sozo Ventures and Novalis LifeSciences.
    4. Omios Biologics, oncolytic virus immunotherapies that defeats cancer using virus biology, raised venture funding from FuturePlay.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Avenzo Therapeutics, clinical-stage oncology platform that develops novel treatments for underserved cancers, raised $47.23 million of Series B venture funding.
    2. Core Biomedicine, therapeutic biotechnology approaches for the treatment of luminal cancers, raised venture funding from Vision Incubate.
    3. Treeline Biosciences, transformative precision medicines that treats cancer and other serious conditions, raised $621.78 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Andreessen Horowitz.
