- Urology America, chain of urological clinics serving the Austin metro corridor area, was acquired by GI Alliance, a subsidiary of Cardinal Health.

- Outcomes4me, patient empowerment platform intended to offer a personalized, expert-validated evidence-based experience and disease-related information to patients, raised $21 million of venture funding from Labcorp Venture Fund, Salica Investments and Forecast Labs.

- Mitotherapeutix, molecule-based drugs designed for the treatment of cancer and degenerative liver disorders, raised $2.97 million of seed funding in the form of convertible debt from Connecticut Innovations and other investors.
- Reprogram Biosciences, innovative biotechnology company intended to focus on cancer treatment, raised $1 million of seed funding in the form of SAFE notes.
