- Made by Nacho, cat food and other products that offer healthy and delicious food options for cats, was acquired by I and love and you, via its financial sponsors L Catterton, Revelry Brands and Winona Capital Management, through an LBO.
- Meowtel, a cat-sitting platform that connects cat parents with trusted and insured cat sitters, was acquired by A Place for Rover, via its financial sponsor Blackstone, through an LBO.
- RxActuator, an animal drug delivery pump that provides reliable, constant drug flow rates, was acquired by Journey Legacy Partners through an LBO.
Later Stage VC
- Loyal, veterinary drugs that improve dogs’ healthspan and lifespan, raised $100 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Age 1.
- OurPetPolicy, an animal management services platform that takes pet frustrations out of residential rentals, raised $8 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by RET Ventures.
- Smalls, direct-to-consumer cat food that offers food products produced with human-grade ingredients.
- Snout, an all-in-one pet health billing platform that combines card processing, loans, wellness and insurance to provide the right financial tool for any situation, raised $10 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Footwork.
Early Stage VC
- FetchDesk AI, an AI-driven virtual receptionist platform that automates 24/7 call handling and administrative workflows for pet care businesses, including groomers, boarding facilities and veterinary clinics, raised venture funding from Active Capital.
- LymeAlert, an at-home tick testing kit that helps people identify potential Lyme disease risk quickly after a tick is found on a person or animal, raised venture funding from Fortify Ventures.
Seed Round
- Field & Stream Pet, a stacked nutrition system of guide-rated dog food and supplements for fueling the energy, endurance, and recovery of active, working, and sporting dogs, raised $3 million of seed funding.
