- Faithful Companion Memorials, pet cremation and memorial services that support pet owners through end-of-life care and remembrance processes, received development capital from Freedom 3 Capital.
Merger/Acquisition
- Choolip, vitamin-infused pet treats based in Montrose, CA, was acquired by Aptamer Sciences for KRW 17.20 billion.
- VIP Petcare, walk-in community veterinary clinics that provide affordable, non-emergency preventive care for pets, was acquired by Tractor Supply.
Later Stage VC
- Asto CT, computed tomography device that provides standard whole-body scanning of animals, raised $83.20 million of Series C venture funding.
- Bond Pet Foods, pet food products that offer all-natural and animal-free sustainable pet nutrition alternatives, raised venture funding from Symrise.
Early Stage VC
- PetMetrics, pet collar device that tracks a pet’s health and early detection of all diseases, raised $250,000 of venture funding.
- PrimVeterinary, digital clinical reference resources for veterinary decision-making purposes, raised venture funding from Kaya VC.
Seed Round
- Travv, cloud based veterinary diagnostics platform that connects veterinarians with expert diagnosticians, raised $1.6 million of seed funding.
Angel (individual)
- PawsitiveTouch, wearable animal monitoring technology for tracking emotional and physical well-being in pets, raised $105,000 of angel funding.
- PetCentric Health, veterinary care management platform that supports clinics through subscription-based pet care plans and financial administration tools, raised $200,000 of angel funding..
