2. Quantum BioPharma, biopharmaceutical venture that builds a portfolio of inventive assets and biotech solutions for the treatment of challenging neurodegenerative and metabolic disorders and alcohol misuse disorders with drug candidates in different stages of development, received approximately $600 of development capital from Xorax Family Trust and Fortius Research and Trading on June 27, 2025.

Merger/Acquisition

Kronos Bio, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical venture that focuses on the discovery and development of small molecule therapeutics to address deregulated transcription, a hallmark of cancer and autoimmune diseases, was acquired by Concentra, a subsidiary of MJ Acquisition, for $59.7 million on June 20, 2025.
4. Serimmune, immune intelligence platform that decodes the human immune response and empower the growth of diagnostics, vaccines, and therapeutics, was acquired by Infinity Bio on June 18, 2025.

5. 28bio, brain-on-a-chip platform that captures neurological processes in the brain and nervous system, raised $1.78 million of Pre-Series A3 venture funding from investors on June 24, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $18.23 million.
6. Arima Genomics, gene-sequencing technology that accelerates the understanding of genome sequence and structure toward their role in human health and disease, raised $22 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Illumina Ventures on June 17, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $19 million.

Early Stage VC

7. Infinity Bio, antibody profiling entity that accelerates various discoveries, raised $8 million through a combination of Series A-1 and Series A-2 venture funding from PTX Capital, Illumina Ventures and Blackbird BioVentures on June 18, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $24 million.
8. Oral Biolife, dental therapeutics platform that treats periodontal disease, raised venture funding from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central and Northern Pennsylvania on June 24, 2025.

Seed Round

9. Inversion Therapeutics, oncology biotech platform that discovers and progresses therapies against previously untapped cancer mechanisms, raised $5 million seed funding in the form of convertible debt in a deal led by Red Tree Venture Capital on June 20, 2025.
10. iXpressGenes, gene expression and protein engineering technology that detects trauma-induced conditions at the molecular level before symptoms appear, raised $2.37 million of seed funding from investors on June 25, 2025.
