- Remine, operator of a real estate platform intended to bridge the gap in connecting people and property, was acquired by PLACE for $1.5 million.

- CREtelligent, provider of commercial real estate services intended to deliver enhanced environmental due diligence, raised $2.71 million of venture funding.
- Villa Homes, operator of a construction company intended to create an accessory dwelling unit on the property, raised $40 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Unless.
- Sunroom Leasing, developer of a leasing operation platform designed for property managers and investors, raised $6.08 million of venture funding.
Early Stage VC

- Flow Life, operator of a real estate company intended to deliver homeownership services, raised an estimated $100 million of Series B venture funding from Andreessen Horowitz.
- Field Materials, developer of a digital software platform designed to democratize the procurement of construction materials, raised $10.5 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Navitas Capital.

- Alakai Capital, operator of a real estate investment firm intended to focus on the acquisition, redevelopment, and management of commercial properties, raised $715,000 of angel funding.
- MatBook, developer of a digital construction materials procurement platform intended to foster secure and transparent transactions, raised $750,000 of pre-seed funding in a deal led by Seedstars International Ventures.
- Rent|Vest, operator of a real estate platform intended to connect renters with property owners, raised $100,000 of seed funding.

Began his career at ABN AMRO Bank in Japan, and subsequently in The Netherlands in the Corporate Finance department. Was seconded to New York in 2006 to co-establish the ABN AMRO North America Corporate Finance M&A department and grew it by advising medium and large companies on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings and capital structurings. Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
