Top 10 Real Estate and Construction Tech Capital Raises in the U.S. – December 16th-31st, 2024

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Cascade Process Controls, provider of turnkey electrical contracting services intended to serve oil and gas, telecommunications, mining, power, automotive and commercial industries, was acquired by Mako Industries.
    2. Ladder, operator of a labor recruitment platform designed to help construction companies hire skilled workers, was acquired by Buildforce.

Later Stage VC

    1. Inveniam, developer of data operating platform designed to facilitate liquidity of private market assets with a focus on private equity and commercial real estate, raised $120 million of venture funding from G42 and Cushman & Wakefield.
    2. Jome, operator of an agent-to-agent network intended to help realtors close more deals by giving them access to new construction and off-market information, raised $15 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Geek Ventures.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Type Five, operator of an architecture and technology company intended to enable customers to create additional living space on the property, raised $7.51 million of venture funding.
    2. Atlas Invest, operator of an online investment platform intended for all asset-backed debt transactions, raised $11 million of venture funding in a deal led by The Garage.
    3. Final Offer, operator of a real estate transaction platform intended to make the home buying and selling process transparent and efficient, raised $9.01 million of Series A venture funding from Silicon Gardens and other investors.
    4. Genrae, operator of a real estate marketplace platform intended to have responsible and sustainable access to homeownership, raised $750,000 of venture funding in the form of convertible debt.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

    1. Acre, developer of a real estate technology platform intended to improve homeownership, raised an estimated $10 million of seed funding in a deal led by Anthemis.
    2. Shovels, developer of national building permits and contractor’s directory platform designed to compile and analyze public records, raised an estimated $5 million of Seed funding from Virta Ventures and other investors.

During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
