Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

- HercuWall, manufacturer of a panelized wall system intended to build single or multi-family homes and commercial buildings, was acquired by Tremco Construction Products, a subsidiary of RPM International.
- Buzz, operator of a property management platform designed to transform the workplace environment, was acquired by Pay Ready.
Buyout/LBO

- Workpack, developer of construction data software designed to accelerate cost-estimating workflows, was acquired by Beck Technology, via its financial sponsor Pamlico Capital, through an LBO.
Early Stage VC

- BuildVision, developer of construction procurement management platform designed to automate repetitive tasks and streamline communications, raised $10 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Norwest Venture Partners.
Seed

- Inertia Systems, developer of a cloud-based construction management platform designed to make job sites coordinated, efficient, and productive, raised $5.17 million through a combination of Seed-3 and Seed-4 funding from Signia Venture Partners and other investors.
- FlagshipRTL, developer of retail intelligence platform designed to give flexible access to premium spaces to scale brands, raised an additional $5 million of Seed funding.
- InHouse, developer of a digital platform designed to optimize design and furnishing for multifamily properties, raised $4.60 million of seed funding from Bucketplace, Perkins Cove Partners and other investors.
- Manifest, developer of a home equity access platform designed for homeowners to unlock their property’s capital, raised $2.5 million of seed funding in a deal led by Lattice Capital and VanEck.
- Terial, developer of commercial roofing software designed to automate workflows, raised $3.03 million through a combination of Seed-1, Seed-2 and Seed-3 funding.

Began his career at ABN AMRO Bank in Japan, and subsequently in The Netherlands in the Corporate Finance department. Was seconded to New York in 2006 to co-establish the ABN AMRO North America Corporate Finance M&A department and grew it by advising medium and large companies on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings and capital structurings. Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
