Later Stage VC

  1. Alosant, a provider of smart community technology, Series A venture funding in a deal led by Bangtail Partners.
  1. Rentberry, a rental platform for tenants and landlords, raised $90 million of Series A venture funding from Berkeley Hills Capital and GTM Capital.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Shaker, a real estate communications platform, was acquired by AccountTECH.

Early Stage VC

  1. City Detect, a provider of AI-driven real estate analytics, raised $2 million of venture funding from Bronze Valley and GrowthX Capital.
  1. Partanna, a construction tech company focused on sustainable building materials, raised early-stage venture capital . (Investor: Hub71)

Seed Round

  1. Trestle, a real estate data platform, raised $2.08 million of pre-seed funding in a deal led by Lerer Hippeau, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $5.42 million.
  1. PinPoint Analytics, a data-driven real estate analytics platform, raised seed funding from ComposeVC.
  1. Track3D, a construction project tracking software, raised $4.3 million of seed funding in a deal led by Endiya Partners.

Accelerator/Incubator

  1. Dependbuild, a provider of construction management solutions, joined Civstart as a part of 2024 AI-in-Government Accelerator Cohort.
  1. Document Crunch, a provider of construction document analysis software, joined HS2 Innovation as part of its HS2 Innovation Accelerator.

Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
