- Carversteak, operator of a steak house based in Las Vegas, Nevada, received development capital from Feenix Venture Partners.
- Ggiata, operator of Italian-style deli cuisine in Los Angeles, California, received capital from GroundForce Capital.
- Ted’s Bulletin, operator of a chain of restaurants in Washington, District of Columbia, received development capital from Feenix Venture Partners.
Merger/Acquisition
- Sharon’s Cafe, operator of a cafe based in Salem, Illinois, acquired by Brian Hubbard.
Buyout/LBO
- S. Pizza Company, operator of a regional pizza restaurant chain intended to serve dine-in and takeout customers across the United States, acquired by FoxDen Capital through an LBO.
Later Stage VC
- Blank Street, operator of a coffee shop intended to offer caffeine products with zero waste and zero emissions, raised $21 million of Series B-4 venture funding.
- Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, operator of a family-owned restaurant company intended for fast casual and fine dining, raised venture funding from YETI Capital.
Early Stage VC
- Port Tradition, operator of a Mexiterraneat fusion restaurant intended to offer mexican and mediterranean flavors of dishes to customers, raised venture funding from Feenix Venture Partners.
Accelerator/Incubator
- Fern Cafe, operator of a restaurant intended to let family and friends gather, joined DoorDash as a part of Accelerator for Local Businesses and received $5,000 in funding in the form of a grant.
- The Baker’s Cafe, operator of a downtown café offering handcrafted food and beverage items intended for casual dining and local community engagement, joined DoorDash as a part of its 2025 Accelerator for Local Businesses Program.
