Top 10 Robotics and Drones Capital Raises in the U.S. – April 1st-15th, 2025

PIPE

    1. Red Cat Holdings, a military technology company that integrates robotic hardware and software to provide critical situational awareness and actionable intelligence to on-the-ground warfighters and battlefield commanders, received $30 million of development capital through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. FarmWise Labs, developer of farming robots designed to facilitate autonomous cultivation and organic farming, was acquired by Taylor Farms.
    2. Rapid Robotics, developer of industrial automation software and hardware designed to deploy robotic arms in the factory, was acquired by Sanctuary AI.
    3. Shore House IVF, developer of maritime drone technology platform based in Irvine, California, was acquired by Boumarang for $3.5 million.
    4. Skytech Automated Solutions, manufacturer of robots catering to the hospitality industry, was acquired by NightFood Holdings for $6.2 million.

Later Stage VC

    1. Aiper, developer and manufacturer of robotic swimming pool cleaners designed to automate pool maintenance, raised CNY 1 billion of venture funding in a deal led by Fluidra.
    2. BRINC, developer of indoor and outdoor drones designed to aid public safety agencies, raised $75 million of Series B-1 venture funding in a deal led by Index Ventures.
    3. Silent Arrow, developer of autonomous drones and aerospace vehicles designed to transport critically needed cargo, raised $3.2 million of venture funding.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Alquist Robotics, operator of a robotics company intended to offer AI-powered robots for retail stores, raised venture funding from Uncommon Projects.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

    1. Pave Robotics, manufacturer of road robots intended to help paving companies save time and money, raised seed funding from FundersClub and Pioneer Fund on April 1, 2025.
