Top 10 Robotics and Drones Capital Raises in the U.S. – February 1st – 15th, 2025

Later Stage VC

    1. Apptronik, operator of a robotics company intended to deliver and scale a variety of general-purpose robots, raised $350 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by B Capital and Capital Factory.
    2. Somatic, developer of bathroom cleaning robots intended to clean commercial office spaces with ease and efficiency, raised $13.71 million of venture funding.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Dopl Technologies, developer of a data and AI company designed for remote robotic and autonomous healthcare delivery, raised $1.5 million of venture funding in a deal led by Tacoma Venture Fund.
    2. SkyStage, operator of a three-dimensional drone show platform intended to connect people through aerial displays and allow them to book customized drone shows, raised venture funding from Starship Ventures.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

    1. FrodoBot, developer of a decentralized network of sidewalk robots designed for entertainment purposes, raised $6 million of seed funding in a deal led by Protocol VC.
    2. Red Rabbit Robotics, developer of an autonomous humanoid labor robot intended to serve residential and commercial sectors, raised seed funding from Varrock Ventures.

Accelerator/Incubator

    1. JIO Robotics, developer of robotic technology designed to create sustainable and innovative systems across industries, joined TEDCO as part of its SBIR/STTR Proposal Lab Cohort.
    2. Nexterity, developer of a hands-free robotic tool designed to automate routine bolting tasks, joined MassRobotics as part of its Massrobotics Accelerator 2025 Cohort 2 and received $100,000 in funding.
    3. Revolute Robotics, developer of inspection and surveillance robots designed to operate in challenging environments where traditional robots cannot, joined MassRobotics as a part of its second cohort and received $100,000 in the form of grant funding.
    4. Tatum Robotics, developer of a robotics tool designed to simplify communication among hearing and visually impaired people, joined MassRobotics and received $100,000 in funding.
