Top 10 Robotics and Drones Capital Raises in the U.S. – January 16th-31st, 2025

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Bear Robotics, manufacturer of autonomous robots intended to serve restaurant food to make hospitality management easier, was acquired by LG Electronics, a subsidiary of LG.
    2. DevLand.AI, developer of gaming ecosystem platform based in the United States, was acquired by sliQue Robotics.
    3. Kind Humanoid, developer of intelligent humanoid robots designed to optimize operations, was acquired by 1X. The acquisition will help 1X expand its Bay Area operations.
    4. Walmart Advanced Systems & Robotics, operator of a robotics automation company intended to improve the way people shop, and retailers operate, was acquired by Symbotic for $520 million.

Buyout/LBO

    1. Tavoron, manufacturer of automation and compressed air systems catering to agriculture, energy, chemical, industrial, packing, transportation and other industries, was acquired by Fusion Capital Partners through an LBO.

Accelerator/Incubator

    1. BOPA Precision Agriculture, developer of drone systems and technologies designed to enhance the agricultural efficiency, joined AgLaunch as a part of AgLaunch365 Accelerator Program.

Later Stage VC

    1. Omnitron Sensors, developer of an automotive sensor platform designed to increase performance, reliability and reduce costs, raised $40 million of Series A1 venture funding in a deal led by Corriente Advisors.
    2. ROYBI, developer of an intelligent edutainment platform intended to provide children with educational robots, raised venture funding from Winrock International.

Early Stage VC 

    1. AutonomUS, developer of an AI-enabled, ultrasound-guided robotic interventional device designed to empower clinicians and first responders to deliver safer and more effective care, raised venture funding from Pimlico Pond Investments.
    2. Figure AI, developer of humanoid robots designed to address drastic labor shortages, and reduce the number of workers in unsafe jobs, raised venture funding from Parkway Venture Capital, Quantum Angels and Arcapita.
