Top 10 Robotics and Drones Capital Raises in the U.S. – October 1st-15th, 2024

  1. Path Robotics, manufacturer of welding robots designed to autonomously find and weld seams, raised $100 million of Series D venture funding in a deal led by Drive Capital and Matter Venture Partners.
  2. QEA Tech, developer of a drone-based energy audit and quantification software designed to assist organizations in improving their energy efficiency and lowering their carbon impact, raised $500,000 of venture funding from Alberta Ecotrust.
  3. Obsidian Sensors, developer of high-resolution thermal imaging sensors and cameras, raised $1.9 million of venture funding from Innolux, Himax Technologies and EvoNexus, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $48.1 million.
  4. Corvus Robotics, manufacturer of warehouse inventory drones intended to collect data for analytics management, raised $18 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Spero Ventures and S2G Ventures.

Early Stage VC

  1. Guardian RF, Developer of a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) detection system, raised venture funding from D3 Venture Capital and Space Capital.
  2. Antares, manufacturer of deployable microreactor space-based power needs intended to make clean energy abundant from Earth to the asteroid belt, raised $27.53 million through a combination of Series A-1 and Series A-2 venture funding, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $71.47 million.
  3. CODE19 Racing, operator of an autonomous racing franchise intended to bring an AI-first approach to the motorsports world, raised $1.5 million of venture funding.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

  1. 3Laws, developer of a plug-and-play module designed to ensure that only safe actions are passed down to the robot actuators, raised $4.1 million of seed funding in a deal led by TenOneTen Ventures.
  2. Terran Robotics, provider of home construction services designed to specialize in automated adobe wall building, raised seed funding in a deal led by SOSV.
  3. New Frontier Aerospace, developer of advanced rocket engines for fast cryogenic orbit transfer stages, planetary landers, and net carbon-negative hypersonic aircraft, raised $2.5 million of seed funding from Pacific Bays Capital, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at an estimated $47.5 million.
