Top 10 SpaceTech Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – April 1st – May 31st, 2026

PIPE

  1. Momentus Inc, a U.S.-based commercial space company that provides satellites, satellite buses, and in-space infrastructure services, received $5 million of development capital.
  2. Sidus Space Inc, a space and defense technology company that delivers satellite manufacturing, technology integration, AI products and services, space and defense hardware components, and space-based data solutions, received $100 million of development capital.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Exquadrum, aerospace propulsion and defense systems that support rocket propulsion, energetics, and aerospace testing applications, was acquired by Mach Industries for $50 million.
  2. Motiv Space Systems, space robotics and motion control systems based in Pasadena, California, was acquired by Rocket Lab for $60 million.

Later Stage VC

  1. Hermeus, an aerospace and defense technology company that develops hypersonic aircraft quickly and cost-effectively, raised $350 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Khosla Ventures.
  2. Lunar Outpost, space robotics that extend human presence on the lunar surface while creating positive impacts on Earth, raised $30 million through a combination of Series B-1 and Series B-2 venture funding in a deal led by Industrious Ventures.

Early Stage VC

  1. Starlab Space, a commercial space station company that serves space agencies, researchers, and companies, raised Series A venture funding from Mitsubishi, Mercury Fund and 1789 Capital.
  2. Aspect Aerospace, single-board orbital systems that deliver scalable satellite constellations at a lower cost than traditional CubeSats, raised $500,000 of pre-seed funding from SOSV and HAX.

Seed Round

  1. AstronetX, space-based observational and data services that serve government agencies, the space science community, and the private sector, raised $1.40 million of seed funding in the form of convertible debt from Baruch Future Ventures and others.
  2. Codective, autonomous UAV navigation and target guidance systems that enable real-time mission decision-making and precision engagement in GNSS-denied environments, raised $200,000 of seed funding from Israel Aerospace Industries.
