PIPE
- Intuitive Machines Inc, a space infrastructure and services company that focuses on enabling sustained human activity beyond Earth, received approximately $175 million of development capital.
- Satellogic Inc, a vertically integrated Earth observation company that designs, manufactures, and operates satellite systems, delivering decision-grade insights at scale to government and commercial customers, received an estimated $35 million of development capital.
Buyout/LBO
- Kythera Space Solutions, a software solution platform that designs, optimizes, and manages next-generation communication satellites and networks, was acquired by Auria Space, via its financial sponsor Enlightenment Capital, through an LBO.
- Vestigo Aerospace, space technology that offers a system for on-orbit servicing of satellites, was acquired by Applied Aerospace Structures, via its financial sponsors Greenbriar Equity Group and Barings, through an LBO.
Later Stage VC
- Firehawk Aerospace, a rocket engine technology that makes space transportation safe, reliable, and affordable, raised $250,000 of venture funding in the form of SAFE notes from BVVC.
- Gravitics, aerospace station technology that forms the building blocks for human life in space, raised $18.2 million through a combination of Series A-1, Series A-2 and Series A-3 venture funding from Alphaaero, Vannevar Ventures and Draper Associates.
- Morpheus Space, spacecraft propulsion systems that promote sustainability in space and on Earth, raised $15 million of Series A+ venture funding in a deal led by Alpine Space Ventures.
- Varda Space Industries, spacecraft infrastructure that creates products in space for terrestrial applications, raised $250 million of Series D venture funding in a deal led by Lux Capital.
Seed Round
- Canada Rocket Company, domestically controlled launch systems that offer sovereign access to space, received $8.3 million of grant funding from Government of Canada.
- Arinna, lightweight and flexible solar panel technology that improves power generation in space-constrained and mobile environments, raised $4 million of seed funding in the form of SAFE Notes in a deal led by Spacecadet Ventures.
