Merger/Acquisition and Corporate
  1. FoodsUp, operator of an online restaurant supply chain business intended to offer good-quality products and services to small and medium-sized restaurants, was acquired by Argo Corporation.
  2. Fleet Complete, developer of software applications intended to help businesses improve safety standards, dispatching, fleet tracking and regulatory compliance, was acquired by PowerFleet for ZAR 3.5 billion.
Later Stage VC
  1. Pallet, developer of cloud-based logistics software intended for changing the way companies manage their supply chains, raised $18 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Bain Capital Ventures.
  2. Warehouse Exchange, operator of warehouse management platform designed to manage and optimize warehouse usage and its facilities, raised $2.23 million of venture funding.
  3. BeyondTrucks, developer of a transportation management software, raised $10.35 million through a combination of Series A-1, Series A-2, and Series A-3 venture funding from Pear, IMO Ventures and Newtown Partners, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $19.65 million. \
  4. Ghost, developer of a private marketplace designed for buying and selling wholesale and surplus inventory, raised $40 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by L Catterton.
Early Stage VC
  1. Scope3, operator of supply chain emissions data platform, raised $25 million of Series B2 venture funding in a deal led by GV, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $180 million.
  2. Zimi, provider of comprehensive international fulfillment services designed, raised venture funding from Fearless Fund.
Angel, Seed, and Grant
  1. Pulse AI, developer of enterprise resource planning tools designed to automate manual transcription tasks by integrating them into existing systems, joined AI Grant as part of its batch 4 and received $250,000 in funding.
  2. Cartage, developer of an automation system designed to streamline operations for freight brokers, raised $3.3 million of seed funding from Pioneer Fund, GarageCapital, and Wayfinder Ventures.
