- Ameri100, intelligent and automated enterprise resource planning solutions, intended for optimizing business processes, was acquired by The Silicon Partners on May 16, 2025.
- io Products, AI-enabled smart gadgets based in the United States, was acquired by OpenAI for $6.5 billion, putting the company’s post-valuation at an estimated $8311 million on May 21, 2025.
- LlamaZOO, multi-dimensional visualization platform designed to interact and view complex data and structures as 3D models, was acquired by KPMG for CAD 1.5 million on May 26, 2025.
Later Stage VC
- Carnegie Foundry, robotics and AI venture intended to scope, mature, and commercialize IP and advanced prototypes, raised $10.3 million of Series A venture funding from United States Steel, Oshkosh, and other investors on May 22, 2025.
- Overview, automation tools designed to detect defects in industrial machines, raised $3.75 million of venture funding in the form of SAFE notes from investors on May 20, 2025.
- PsiQuantum, quantum computing intended to build and deploy functional quantum computers, raised $22 million of venture funding in a deal led by BlackRock on May 30, 2025.
Early Stage VC
- RoboForce, artificial intelligence robotics system designed for automating labor-intensive tasks, raised $15 million of venture funding from Myron Scholes, Gary Rieschel and Carnegie Mellon University on May 19, 2025.
Seed Round
- Leeta, chemical raw materials for affordable products, raised $4.45 million through a combination of Seed-1 and Seed-2 funding from investors on May 27, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $9.5 million.
