PIPE
- Volatus Aerospace, global aerial intelligence and cargo solutions using piloted and remotely piloted aircraft systems that deliver efficient, safe, and sustainable real-world aerial innovations across industries, received CAD 4.83 million of development capital from investors on August 14, 2025.
Merger/Acquisition
- Aerostrat, aircraft maintenance management software for long-term maintenance planning and forecasting, was acquired by Dean & Dean Capital Group Corporation for $15 million on August 12, 2025.
- Geost, optical collection systems that provide operational advantage using data in and from space, was acquired by Rocket Lab for $325 million on August 12, 2025.
Early Stage VC
- Fulcrum Autonomy, multi-domain autonomous systems that address operational gaps in aerospace and defence environments, raised $499,940 of venture funding from investors on August 7, 2025.
- JEH Aerospace, aerospace manufacturing platform that transforms the supply chain experience digitally and deliver quality parts at scale, and on time, raised $11 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Elevation Capital on August 5, 2025.
Later Stage VC
- Baxter Aerospace, autonomous aerial systems that address global challenges such as wildfires and mission-critical connectivity, raised $6 million of Series A venture funding from Accuidity and other investors on July 24, 2025.
- BETA Technologies, electric aircraft for sustainable aviation across cargo, medical, passenger, and military applications, closed on $300 million of targeted amount of venture funding from GE Capital and other investors on September 4, 2025.
Seed Round
- Orbital Operations, space manoeuvring technology designed to support spacecraft positioning and defence operations, raised $8.8 million of seed funding in a deal led by Initialized Capital on August 8, 2025.
