PIPE
- Volatus Aerospace, innovative global aerial solutions leader for intelligence and cargo, received CAD 5 million of development capital investors on June 27, 2025.
Merger/Acquisition
- NE-XT Technologies, complex, close-tolerance and precision-machined components and assemblies for applications in aerospace, defense and other industrial OEMs, was acquired by Colt CZ Group North America, a subsidiary of Colt CZ Group, on June 16, 2025.
- Northstar Aerospace, flight-critical gears and transmissions that serve the global aerospace industry, was acquired by GE Aerospace on June 26, 2025.
Later Stage VC
- Firestorm, loitering munitions and mission-adaptable systems that build aerial weapons systems, raised $10.00 million of Series A-5 venture funding from investors on June 18, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $130 million.
- Sceye, airship infrastructure that opens up access to the stratosphere, raised $15 million of venture funding from SoftBank Group on June 26, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $565 million.
- Xona Space Systems, space systems for the smart transportation and infrastructure industries, raised $75 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Craft Ventures on June 26, 2025.
Grant
- Enigma Aerospace, autonomous aviation platform that transforms aerial logistics for defense and enterprise cargo transport, received $100,000 of grant funding from MassVentures on June 30, 2025.
- Transcend Air, aircraft design and development platform that provides aircraft for commercial, private, and military use, received $200,000 of grant funding from MassVentures on June 30, 2025.
