PE Growth/Expansion
- CBDNorth, organic cannabinoid products for health and wellness support, received development capital from Kade Ventures.
PIPE
- Avicanna, evidence-based cannabinoid-based products and formulations for the medical and pharmaceutical market segments, received CAD 600,002 of development capital through a private placement.
- Bionxt Solutions, a bioscience innovator of next-generation drug delivery systems, received CAD 1.99 million of development capital through a private placement.
Merger/Acquisition
- Ayurcann, post-harvest outsourcing solutions for licensed cannabis producers and the manufacture and distribution of cannabis products, was acquired by Emblem Cannabis for $6.17 million.
Later Stage VC
- California Cannabis Industry Association, cannabis industry trade association that represents and supports the regulated cannabis industry, raised venture funding from Big Rock.
Early Stage VC
- Ripco Processing, cannabis accessories that facilitate traditional consumption methods, raised venture funding from Wenova Ventures.
- California Reserve Flower, provides quality cannabis flowers and extracts, raised $500,000 of venture funding in the form of convertible debt.
Seed Round
- Hightainment, cannabis-themed adult party card game that provides humorous entertainment, social interaction, and competitive gameplay for adults during parties and group gatherings, raised $90,000 of seed funding.
