- Kuali, education-specific cloud-based platform that meets the needs of institutions of higher education, received development capital from Banneker Partners on July 1, 2025.
Merger/Acquisition
- New Innovations, web-based residency management system for hospitals, health systems and medical educators worldwide, was acquired by QGenda, a subsidiary of Hearst Communications, on July 9, 2025.
Early Stage VC
- Honor Education, teaching and learning platform that provides access to a learning environment that fosters creative and critical thinking, raised $38 million through a combination of Series A-1, and Series A-2 venture funding from Alpha Edison, Audeo Ventures and Interlock Partners on July 8, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $86 million.
- Safer School Solutions, data safety and security services platform that offers tools for school leaders, raised $200,000 of venture funding from investors on July 3, 2025.
Seed Round
- Coding Temple, online technical training platform for aspiring software engineers, data analysts and cybersecurity professionals, raised $3.90 million of seed funding from investors on July 3, 2025.
- Shoonya Kids, educational platform that provides interactive edutainment content inspired by the stories and characters of the world, raised $1.96 million through a combination of debt and Seed funding from RevHubOC, Tappan Hill Ventures and Impact Assets on July 2, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $8.29 million.
