Top EdTech Capital Raises in the U.S. – June 16th to 30th, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion

  1. NPHub, technology-powered marketplace that streamlines how nurse practitioner students and clinicians secure clinical rotations and transition into employment, received $20 million of development capital from Edison Partners on June 24, 2025.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Ellipsis Education, computer science curriculum platform for building confidence in educators and students, was acquired by Qubits Learning on June 18, 2025.
  2. Obé, at-home workout platform for online and live workout sessions, was acquired by Dear Media on June 23, 2025.

Later Stage VC

  1. Abre, data management platform for educational institutes, raised $13 million through a combination of Series A-1 and Series A-2 venture funding from PeakSpan Capital, Jumpstart Ventures and JobsOhio Growth Capital on June 25, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $44 million.

Early Stage VC

  1. Pro Athlete Community, platform for executive education, experiences, and a luminary network that serves current and former players, raised $7.6 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by GSV Ventures on June 24, 2025.
  2. Wall Street Business Academy, community-subscription-based software that simplifies complex market data, raised $785,000 of venture funding in the form of convertible debt from investors on June 27, 2025.

Grant

  1. ThinkPlayful, learning software for assisting the parent and child through playful learning activities in the world, received $1.23 million of grant funding from NSF International on June 30, 2025.
