  1. Barley, compensation management software for paying employees optimally and fairly, was acquired by Workleap, via its financial sponsor Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, through an LBO on July 7, 2025.
  2. Nearsure, human resource consulting firm that helps companies augment their software development teams efficiently, was acquired by Nortal, via its financial sponsor, through an LBO on July 15, 2025.

Later Stage VC

  1. BetterWorks, human resource software that aligns and activates the workforce for business growth, raised $27 million of Series B3 venture funding from investors on July 1, 2025.
  2. Yello, talent acquisition platform that simplifies the recruiting process, raised $5.79 million of venture funding from investors on July 1, 2025.

Early Stage VC

  1. Courted, brokerage management platform that supports recruitment, retention, and operational efficiency for real estate brokerages, raised venture funding from Siesta Ventures in July 2025.
  2. Migrate Mate, subscription-based platform that finds visa-sponsored job opportunities, raised venture funding from Redbud VC in July 2025.

Accelerator/Incubator

  1. Enabled Talent, digital platform intended for inclusive hiring practices, joined UNICEF StartUp Lab as part of its UNICEF StartUp Lab accelerator programme cohort 5 on July 7, 2025 and received grant funding.
