Top HR Tech Capital Raises in the U.S. – March 16th – 31st, 2025

Buyout/LBO

  1. Talent Quest, developer of talent management and consulting software intended to attract, develop, and retain top-performing team, was acquired by Energage, via its financial sponsor NewSpring Capital, through an LBO on March 17, 2025.

Later stage VC

  1. BuildOps, developer of an all-in-one operational software designed to grow sales, organize offices, empower technicians and cut expenses, raised $126.6 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Meritech Capital Partners on March 21, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $873.4 million.
  2. Oplign, developer of an employment application designed to align job seekers with matching jobs, raised $254,579 of venture funding from investors on March 25, 2025.

Early Stage VC

  1. Engin (Human Capital Services), developer of an artificial intelligence-based recruiting marketing software and management system designed for human resources teams to get people for work, raised $1.35 million of venture funding in the form of convertible debt from investors on March 28, 2025.
  1. Ribbon (Business/Productivity Software), developer of an AI-powered social professional network platform designed to recognize achievements and ownership, raised $8 million of venture funding in a deal led by Radical Ventures on March 31, 2025.

Seed Round

  1. Marit Health, developer of a community-powered anonymous salary sharing platform intended to help clinicians understand individual compensation by specialty and location, raised $3.2 million of seed funding in a deal led by Define Ventures on March 27, 2025.
  2. Praos Health, developer of a white-labeled cloud-based platform designed for per diem nursing jobs, raised $787,044 of Seed-2 funding from investors on March 19, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $7.71 million.
