Top SaaS Capital Raises in the U.S. – September 2nd-15th, 2024
SaaS has seen some major capital raising activity in September so far. Three companies raised rounds of $200 million or more—funding innovation in knowledge management (Glean), research (World Labs), and SMB accounting (Finally). The rest of the companies in the list raised capital in the range of $40 – 75 million each.

Later Stage VC
- Glean, a workplace search and knowledge management platform, raised $260 million in later-stage venture capital led by Altimeter Capital Management and DST Global.
- World Labs, a SaaS platform for collaborative research, raised $230 million led by Radical Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz and New Enterprise Associates.

Finally, an accounting and finance platform for SMBs, raised $200 million in private equity growth capital to expand its product suite.
- Forterra, a provider of autonomous vehicle software, raised $75 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Moore Strategic Ventures, XYZ Venture Capital and Hedosophia.

Oyster, a SaaS platform for global employment, raised $59 million of Series D venture funding in a deal led by Silver Lake Waterman, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $1.1 billion.
- Cortex, a developer of SaaS security automation tools, raised $60 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Scale Venture Partners, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $410 million.

Laravel, a PHP framework for web application development, raised $57 million of Series A venture funding led by Accel.
- Mangomint, cloud-based software for salon and spa management, raised $47 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Altos Ventures and SaaStr.
- Smartcat, a collaborative SaaS platform for translation management, raised $42.4 million through a combination of Series C-1 and Series C-2 venture funding in a deal led by Left Lane CapitaL, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $127.6 million.
