SpaceTech Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – July 16th to August 31st, 202

Merger/Acquisition
- FOSAI, space systems & autonomy software for the aerospace and defense sectors, was acquired by Pasteur Labs for on August 21, 2025.
- Narda-MITEQ, custom radiofrequency, microwave subsystems and components for defense and commercial end markets, was acquired by Amphenol for $300 million on July 23, 2025.
Later Stage VC
- SpinLaunch, spaceflight technology that launches small space satellites and payloads into space, raised $30 million of venture funding in a deal led by ATW Partners on August 18, 2025.
- Ursa Space, geospatial data and analytics services that gather data from radar satellites, raised venture funding from Sumitomo Corporation of Americas on August 20, 2025.
Early Stage VC
- Charter Space, space program management platform that supports the development of spacecraft and in-orbit asset insurance systems, raised $3.96 million of venture funding from investors on August 28, 2025.
- SkyFi, earth observation marketplace that lowers the barrier to entry for procuring custom data and imagery, raised $14.18 million through a combination of Series A and Series A-1 venture funding from Contrarian Thinking Capital and other investors on August 7, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $56 million.
Seed Round
- Catalyx Space, unmanned space labs and re-entry capsules that support research, manufacturing and other space-related activities, raised $7.52 million of seed funding in a deal led by Founders, Inc, Hacker Fellowship Zero, Qasar Younis and Techstars on August 21, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $13 million.
- Orbital Operations, space manoeuvring technology that supports spacecraft positioning and defence operations, raised $8.8 million of seed funding in a deal led by Initialized Capital on August 8, 2025.
