PIPE

    1. Favo Capital, a direct funding company, which provides customized, short-term funding to small and mid-sized businesses nationwide, received $2 million of development capital from D. Boral Capital through a private placement.
    2. Matador, operator of a gold trading platform intended to enhance the buying and selling process, sold a 14% stake through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Axis Auto Finance, a fintech company that is changing the way used vehicles are purchased and financed in Canada, was acquired by Fionic for CAD 78 million.
    2. Integrated Oncology Network, provider of oncology center development, management, advisory services and capital for physician practices and hospitals, was acquired by Cardinal Health for $1.12 billion.
    3. Raise Green, developer of an equity crowdfunding platform designed to facilitate businesses in raising capital for green infrastructure and clean energy projects, was acquired by Honeycomb Credit.

Later Stage VC

    1. AtlasCard, developer of an online financial platform designed to offer a digital bank account and personalized card facilities for secure transactions, raised $27 million of Series B venture funding.
    2. BITKRAFT Ventures, operator of an investment platform intended to offer investments to game studios, gaming platforms, and gaming-related technology, raised venture funding from Blue Owl Capital.
    3. Credit Genie, operator of a credit management platform intended to help users to take control of their finances, raised venture funding from Protagonist.

Early Stage VC 

    1. 275 Funding, provider of investment services intended for generating fixed returns, raised $29.33 million of venture funding in the form of convertible debt.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

    1. RAI Partners, provider of credit card services intended to strengthen community financial institutions, raised $5.55 million of seed funding.

Began his career in 1985 at Arthur Andersen where he managed their structured finance group consulting on ground breaking securitizations of residential mortgages, credit cards, auto loans, corporate loans and other financial assets.
