OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking $5 million of equity (in addition to prior raises of $16 million equity) for sales and marketing of coca extract, essence and fertilizer products to the U.S.
In March 2024, the company agreed to be acquired in a reverse takeover transaction; closing expected before the end of October 2024
- Exclusive partnership – 15-year supply agreement in-place with the Nasa Indigenous Community to manufacture proprietary formulations of coca extract
- Complies with all laws and regulations under Colombian Law (Article 7), United Nations (Article 14 & 27) and U.S. Law (classified as GRAS substance in Part 182 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations); coca alkaloids (like cocaine) are removed from the extract and destroyed by the Indigenous people, allowing the legal process and package of decocainized extract for global export
- Multiple customer contracts – executed supply agreements for coca extract (Canadian and U.S. food & beverage) and additional letters of intent (LOIs) for coca extract, essence and fertilizer products; executed U.S. distribution partnership with Abstrax (Cannabis, beverage and brewery)
- Management team – extensive technical, business development and marketing experience in the highly-regulated food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and agricultural industries
