Downtown Hoedown is seeking $10 million of equity to create an annual two-day country music festival in Atlanta at the Mercedes Benz Stadium for the next four years.
The event will feature ten of the top country music artists over two days
Long-term goal is to expand to a 3-day festival once the brand is established
Target date(s) are April, 2023 or October, 2023 (final date selection depends on the amount of time it takes to raise funds)
Target headliners are Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Eric Church, Luke Combs, etc. and the headliners should draw at least 20,000+ fans per day
negotiations with these artists cannot begin until artist representatives confirm that resources are available to commit
Atlanta was the first home of country music
According to Chartmetric, Atlanta holds a 15% market share of country music non-unique listeners by city which equates to 25.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify
Research from Music Watch shows that Spotify listeners are nearly 50% more likely to attend live music events than the average fan
